Last week I finally got a chance to visit Kyosho dNaNo store, and bought some minor upgrade on my Motul Autech Z 2007 – Ball Bearings and Ball Diff. It was very easy to upgrade with those, just the annoying part is dealing with those tiny screws. and of course, the fun part in Kyosho dNaNo store is the racing track and I was able to meet many “cHing” (some experienced racers) in there and they have taught me a lot what to upgrade my dNaNo.
Here is the video I found on youtube while those “cHing” playing in Kyosho dNaNo store:
That was a very nice track, and when I stepped on it I was really underestimated this small R/C car and overestimated my skill. haha. I suck with that. First, I want to say that the dNaNo I was driving was not my Motul Autech Z 2007, but it was a new dNaNo ENZO Ferrari Red. (yes! I bought one at store because I wanted to become a member of Kyosho dNaNo store. *^_^*)
My first virgin run on the track – I was totally like driving a bumper car (still driving like that). I could not corner well, even on a straight road I will hit the wall when I accelerated. my first lap time was 40 something seconds. In fact the best lap time over there was under 10 seconds. I was 4x slower than that….
Lucky, some “cHing” arrived at the store and gave me some tips on what upgrade I should get. First, I upgrade my front tires to 40 degrees from 50, rear tires from 10 degrees to 8, ball bearings and ball diff. gear. It started getting better on the track. Since I still have money in my wallet, so I asked for more upgrade… haha.. Gyro, Rear Suspension damper, front spring, aluminum rear hubs, aluminum Front Sus Plate Set and high torque motor. Now my best lap time is 14.5 seconds. ( a lot of laps practice, and still need a lot! *^_^*) Hope soon I can run my dNaNo under 11 seconds!
Here are some upgrade pictures for my Motul Autech Z 2007. Next time will post Enzo (already lost 2 mirrors after many laps on the track.. T_T)
