Tokyo Sunshine City 7/28

After a long rest, I went to Sunshine City at Ikebukuro.  It took me about 20 minutes from the place I stayed, and I passed by the Coin Museum.   However, I was kinda lost to see if there anything interesting except aquarium at Sunshine City.  I remember I read some interesting place to visit from a tour book, but the place was quite big, and I could not find it.. (until later I got home that I found out I wanted to visit J-world over there)

I ended up shopping at Tokyu Hands.  It was a very amazing for me as I end up bought a lot of things.

I also visited Sega arcade accross Tokyu Hands.  If I live in Tokyo, I am sure I will be Otaku. LOL!

Dinner was sushi, which one of the reason I love Japan.  I really love sushi.  Only about 3000 Yen for 13 pc of sushi and beer, but if I added 1000 yen more, I could have all you can eat sushi buffer (now I kinda regret that I did not get sushi buffet because I did not eat that much sushi during the trip)

Tokyo Jul 28

Arrived Tokyo last night.  It was quite late by the time I checked in to the Hotel.  I stayed in Tokyo JAL Haneda Hotel.   Quite nice and it is very closed to airport, but I only stayed for one night (actually less than 10 hrs)

My first meal in Japan was at Sukiya.  A unagi beef bowl for only 1000 Yen.

After that, took a very long ride to my AirBnB host at 池袋.  This is my very first time experience for AirBnb.  The host had to work around 2 p.m., but fortunately I met her before she left.  I took some picture of her place.  Just a sofa bed in the living room, but it is a very nice feeling of home and decoration.  Only thing is if you need to work, then there is no table. I have to code on the sofa bed.  Beside that, I am easy going and have no complaint.    It is ok la… for only about 300 HKD a night which is also located in very convenient location.  Only couple minute walks from the train station.

Now it is 3:54 p.m.  at 4, I will walk to Sunshine city and take more pictures. 🙂

Hong Kong Techathon 2015

2015-07-05 16.37.58

I was invited to Hong Kong Techathon 2015 to team up with friends.  My team AtTempSpace comes with experienced people in Business development and Legal, and they are very friendly people.  It went well and we passed the first stage!  Although I only can help out on technical side, it was great joy that I could meet many people and listened to many innovative ideas.

Not sure how much point my App worth during the first stage as not many team has their MVP showing, but  I built an App in couple hours with search and chat function (And actually I built two apps in 24 hrs because of being stupid that deleted the first app on the first day with some command line tool, and I had to redo it again).

Cheer for all winning teams on first stage, and good luck and prepare for the final! 🙂
