Today I went to Scott Kelby’s Second Annual Worldwide Photo Walk. It was a event that many photographer gathering and take a pictures together. I was pretty excited about this event. However, due to typhoon and bad weather, we could not go to many places as we planned. This picture I took it when I was getting on a ferry. Surely it was overexposed, but I kinda like how it is. Eye hurting? 🙂

奇異天象
Yesterday I saw this outside my windows. It reminded me the new pictures about 奇異天象 after the earthquake in China. Can check here for that news picture: 雲南地震300多人受傷 震後出現奇異天象
The Past
This picture was taken on 2003. That was the time I was so interested in taking picture, but had no idea about the relationship between shutter speed, aperture, and ISO. However, I think good photo is not only because of those scientific number, but taken from your heart. Something that you want to capture, something that has been in your life. It is all a good photograph should be. Also, color, toning.. all for expression of that moment…
Children
I think taking picture from children is a good practice for taking good portrait pictures. Children’s facial expression are pretty, and full of surprise. You need to react spontaneously in order to capture a moment that you may miss on their little face. Furthermore, most of them will try to escape away from your camera because most of them don’t like to be taken.
It is a good practice to learn that spontaneous sense for taking good photo. I am still slow.
