Met my good friend in Tokyo 7/29
One of my best moment in Tokyo, was meeting my friend Genta. While I was visiting Waseda University, I got a message from Genta. That was surprise because I thought he could be busy, but he made his time for me! I really appreciated that! Genta is my friend from United States, and we had not met for very long time until last year when he visited Hong Kong.
It was a great catch up, and this time I had shown up on his own town, so he was giving me a small tour of Tokyo. We went to a fancy restaurant for dinner, then he showed some local bars in Tokyo to play dart games. I would say that I was pretty good with dart game (haha) because that was my first time playing. It was very fun.
It was a very great evening. I am not the kind of person that will look up old friends and chat online, and also not that proactive, but I really enjoy the moment meeting old friends face to face. That is what I treasure most. I am so glad that I got many good friends, and I wish I could meet all of them again even if we are apart by distance.
To all my friends, GUYS and GALS, I don’t talk to you does not mean that I forget. You all always in my heart, and looking forward to meet all of you again in the future. 🙂 (very cheesy :P)
National Art Center Tokyo 7/29
After Waseda University, I decided to go to The National Art Center Tokyo.
There were couple exhibitions, and I chose the “ANIMATION * GAME * COMIC” exhibition. I could not take picture inside the exhibition, but it was very inspiring. For example, there were a video showing that how to added a Monster in a comic called “Gantz“. It was very amazing to see all the procedures for making that into just one column in the book.
For people like art and Japanese culture, or want a relax moment in Tokyo, this is a very nice place to visit.
Tokyo Sunshine City 7/28
After a long rest, I went to Sunshine City at Ikebukuro. It took me about 20 minutes from the place I stayed, and I passed by the Coin Museum. However, I was kinda lost to see if there anything interesting except aquarium at Sunshine City. I remember I read some interesting place to visit from a tour book, but the place was quite big, and I could not find it.. (until later I got home that I found out I wanted to visit J-world over there)
I ended up shopping at Tokyu Hands. It was a very amazing for me as I end up bought a lot of things.
I also visited Sega arcade accross Tokyu Hands. If I live in Tokyo, I am sure I will be Otaku. LOL!
Dinner was sushi, which one of the reason I love Japan. I really love sushi. Only about 3000 Yen for 13 pc of sushi and beer, but if I added 1000 yen more, I could have all you can eat sushi buffer (now I kinda regret that I did not get sushi buffet because I did not eat that much sushi during the trip)
